Klaudius Henke, born in Dortmund in 1957, studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart, the Architectural Association School of Architecture London (AA) and the Berlin University of the Arts (HdK / UdK). He then completed his postgraduate studies in economics and business administration at the Technical University of Munich and worked freelance as an architect. Klaudius Henke has been a Research Associate at the Department of Timber Construction and Structural Design at the Faculty of Engineering Bau Geo Umwelt at the TU Munich since 2002. Since 2010, he has been researching in the field of additive manufacturing in the construction industry and received his doctorate in 2016 with the topic "Additive construction production through the extrusion of wood cement".
