Nicola Borgmann operates globally as architect, curator and art historian. As director of the Architekturgalerie München she has organized and designed the exhibitions and events of the gallery since 1992. She is responsible for numerous art and architecture exhibitions, as well as for the organization of symposia, lectures, book and film reviews, discussions, and art in public spaces. Nicola Borgmann also compliments her professional work through teaching assignments and lectures at national and international universities. Since 2008 she is Member of the "Deutsche Akademie für Städtebau und Landesplanung" DASL (German Academy of Urban and Regional Planning). In 2011 she was awarded the Bavarian Architecture Prize.
