Christophe de la Fontaine

Dante – Goods and Bads

Christophe de la Fontaine was born in 1976 in Luxemburg, where he graduated from the Lycee des Arts et Metiers as a sculptor. The risky career of the pure artist brought him closer to design, which, as he says, brings together artistic freedom and creativity with the industrial needs. From 1996 – 2002 he studied industrial design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart, taught by the one and only Richard Sapper. From 2003 to 2009 he was leading the Patrizia Urquola design department. And in 2010 he opened his own design office based in Milan 3, leading to co-founding the DANTE Goods & Bads in 2012 with his partner and wife, German contemporary artist Aylin Langreuter.
